October 10, Day 6 REST

Decided to put the summit first!, rather than ascent

Word for the day, “GRACE”.  Grace is defined as smooth and elegant movement.”  My walking up the next mountain? Hill? Was anything but graceful.  I have a cold, so walking in the rain has not been conducive to healing.  No chills though.  So today was another mountain climb, above we are at the top! We went from San Roman-Ullibarri to Santa Cruz de Campezo.

My mother, Helen, was a true believer in the rosary. She met with a group weekly to pray to Mary.
And she was truly full of grace!
So as I trudged up the hill, I recited the rosary!
And the rhythm and the prayer,
So full of grace; helped me make it up the hill!
Mom was also one great 🪗 player, poet, loving mom

Last night was a full moon, the harvest moon!  I could see it out my window.

A prayerful room! At a lovely convent.  We all know it’s the nuns who do the work of the church.
And I’m now signing off, as I have 102 temp!  No walking in the rain for me.
