Barcelona! Word for the day: SPENT
The word above is in Arabic, kharch kiya, and is spent in Hindi. It means exhausted!
Do my fellow pilgrims feel spent after a long journey from Logrono to Alfaro?
Feeling spent today. Tired still. Just don’t quite get the lack of energy. Spent, we hope that’s not what happened to Eileen’s wallet. We believe it was stolen, or dropped out on the crowded bus to see her friend. Spent, needing my cup to overflow… with love, understanding, faith.
I hope we may all be filled with the Holy Spirit, whichever Spirit in our world moves you and me!
One of the readings in Challenges today is from Ruth:
Wherever you go, I will go..,,,wherever you live, I shall live. Your people will be my people, and your God, my God!
But I did read that St Ignatius, “mounted his mule” and left Navarette for Montserrat. So my question is, if he were alive today, would he be taking the train, like I will in a couple of days? Jeez Louise!
Take your time. This virus is slow to heal. So sorry about Eileen’s wallet. That is not cool. Hopefully tomorrow your cup will runneth over❤️ Susan
ReplyDeleteYes… agree with Susan. Take your time. Use the time to read, meditate & take in some sunshine. Blessings, Barbara
